The beloved Mollie Sugden, one of British comedy's greatest gifts to the world, stars in the classic series My Husband and I, which joins VisionTV's top-rated Britcom lineup next month.

My Husband and I airs on Monday nights, starting Nov. 2, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.

Sugden, who is best known for playing Betty Slocombe, the formidable saleslady with the candy-coloured hair on the long-running series Are You Being Served?, died this past July at the age of 86. Britain's The Guardian remembered her as a "national treasure."

In My Husband and I, she plays Nora Powers, the officious head of personnel at a prestigious advertising agency. Nora’s personal and professional lives collide unhappily when her husband George -- played by Sugden’s real-life husband, William Moore -- joins the company as chief doorman.

Moore is also a familiar face to VisionTV Britcom viewers: he played the long-suffering Mr. Lumsden on the hit series Sorry! with Ronnie Corbett.

VisionTV presents the best of British comedy every weeknight starting at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. Other favourite titles airing in this block include One Foot in the Grave, Keeping Up Appearances, ’Allo, ’Allo! and Last of the Summer Wine.

Father Ted, another Britcom classic, starring Dermot Morgan as a dodgy Irish priest ministering to the benighted souls of Ireland's fictitious Craggy Island, premieres on VisionTV this Friday, Oct. 23 at 8:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. PT.
